We're proud to announce that we've just released the first version of our iPhone app which allows you to take photos of sketches and upload them into the Marvel web app to turn into prototypes.
If you like sketching your interface and app ideas on paper before jumping into visuals then our app is perfect for you.
Simply open the app, take a photo of your sketch and it will automatically upload to your project. Then just login to our web app and start adding hotspots like you normally would.
Within a few minutes you'll have a working prototype to share and test on devices.
Everything is uploaded to your Dropbox too, so if you want to make changes to your photos, they will be automatically synced with the Marvel prototype.
Create paper prototypes for iPhone and iPad
A great feature of the app is the ability to crop and export your photos to iPad (1024x768), iPhone 4 (640x960) and iPhone 5 (640x1136) screen sizes so that you can create screens that perfectly fit the device.
What's next
In the spirit of shipping fast, this release is our MVP (minimum viable product) and we plan on iterating quickly to improve on it and build new features.
Our next version will have the ability to create full prototypes on the iPhone so you'll be able to do everything right there and then without needing to be near a computer.
